Rev Heather McDuffee

PASTOR

Let me introduce myself. I’m Reverend Heather McDuffee. I began ministry more than 20 years ago in Boulder, CO. I have been an Associate Minister in Boulder, CO and in Canton, Ohio and a Lead Pastor in Colorado Springs. I am passionate about social justice ministry and action, from racial justice ministry to food and healthcare equity. Other than ministry, I live with my wife, Brandy, and my two smart and sassy teenage girls. I love singing, talking about the Enneagram, looking for art for my next tattoo, hiking with my Chihuahua, listening to '90's hip hop, refinishing furniture and trusting God with it all.

Simon Jacobs

DIRECTOR OF MUSIC

Simon Jacobs is a multi-talented professional organist, pianist, conductor and on-air radio host. He plays a variety of settings and styles, from organ concerts to collaborative piano.

Simon has a passion for conducting, and enjoys working with both amateur and professional ensembles. He received his Master of Music in Choral Conducting from the Yale Institute of Sacred Music and Yale School of Music. He also has a wonderful tenor voice.

Simon is an on-air host on KCME 88.7 FM, Colorado Springs' independent classical station, and also its sister station, Jazz 93.5 FM. Simon is also responsible for KCME's school outreach program, Classics For Kids, which goes into local schools to perform and educate the next generation of classical music lovers.

A lover of eclectic musical styles, he is equally at home in a musical theatre pit, a jazz ensemble, or a pop/rock band. Simon lives in Manitou Springs with his wife, Mira and their fur babies.
